英語ニュースの達人、大武正樹さんをお招きします。
大武さんはVital Japan設立時である10年前からのメンバー。昨年お話いただいたご専門の 「ニュースで鍛える“英語力”
」のテーマで、Vital Japan10周年の今年、さらにパワーアップしてお話しいただきます。
主に日本のラジオ講座を通して英語を学ばれ、どのように英語ニュースの執筆や編集を手がけるまでになることができたのか、その勉強法の秘訣の一端も披露されることと思います。
さらに、英語ニュースの読み方や書き方のツボをプレゼンいただくだけではなく参加者とともに、ニュースで使われる凝ったタイトルや表現についても考えます。
勉強会では、Show and tell what you find funnyと称して、参加者に英語ニュースで読んだり視聴したして「これは上手い！」「ほぉほぉ、そうきましたか」「座布団一枚！」などと思わずニヤッとしてしまうタイトルや表現を発表してもらいます。
グループに分かれて、自分が見つけた工夫された/面白い表現をグループ内で披露。その中でも面白い！というものは全員の前でも発表していただく予定です。
セッションは、英語と日本語を交えて行います。

英語ニュース（新聞、雑誌、テレビ、インターネット、ポッドキャストなどなんでも可）を視聴して、工夫されたタイトルや表現を見つけてお越しください自分にとっては新鮮だった表現など、小さなことで結構です。

大武 正樹（おおたけ まさき）さん
NHK国際放送局 英語ニュース チーフ・プロデューサー
上智大学英語学科首席卒。NHK国際局入局後、AP通信社（ワシントンD.C.）への派遣などを経て、現在は海外向けの英語ニュース番組Newslineの編責・テレビデスク。
高２でカリフォルニア州の公立校に留学（AFS）。大学時代はJNSA基金（中学生の英語弁論大会「高円宮杯」を運営する学生団体）所属。英語は主にNHKのラジオ講座と「百万人の英語」、英米の英語ニュース番組から学ぶ。
趣味＝テニス、バイク、将棋（アマ五段）、英語ニュース番組を視聴して、言葉遊びなどを“座布団一枚”と称してメモすること。

米国で弁護士として活躍し、現在は国際経営コンサルタント、エグゼクティブコーチとして人気のLarry Kiyohiroさんをスピーカーにお迎えします。
コミュニケーションにおいて、言語だけでなく、ボディーランゲージのような非言語コミュニケーションのもつ重要性はいうまでもありません。
今回は、様々なボディーランゲージの持つ意味を考え、どうすれば良い印象を与えられるのか、交渉に勝つことができるのかを実践してみます。ビジネスの世界だけではなく、男女間などの日常のコミュニケーションで場でも使える技をスピーカーに披露いただきます。
Workshop形式で、グループやペアでのワークが盛りだくさんです。

Body language is an important aspect of modern communication.
It is very relevant in business settings, but is critical
in the social context as well. Body language is a powerful
concept which successful people tend to understand well.
So can you.
This seminar is designed to help you analyze the body
language of others, and to also develop your own non-verbal
skills that precisely indicate the feelings you are
trying to convey.
Body language is especially crucial when we meet someone
for the first time. We form opinions of others in just
a few seconds, which is based on what we see and feel
about the other person even before they start speaking.
Body language is thus very influential in forming our
first impressions of others.
The speaker will share his insight as an instructor
of advanced negotiation techniques. The ability to ‘read
people’ can give you a decided advantage in business
negotiations, but can also be used to develop meaningful
relationships in your private life.

Larry Kiyohiro is an Executive Consultant for HR Institute
(HRI) in Tokyo.
His consulting practice draws upon his vast international
experience as a lawyer and former investment banker.
His instruction is full of practical nowledge for cross-cultural
communication, negotiation, legal analysis, leadership
and strategy programs.
Larry was also an adjunct professor at the Japan-America
Institute of Management Science (JAIMS) teaching global
management and finance. In addition, he acts as a coach
to Japanese executives having foreign-based responsibilities.
Larry is a member of the American Society of Training
& Development (ASTD), the Japan HR Society, and
the JAIMS bond alumni association in Tokyo.

Global（ジオ・グローバル-国際情勢勉強会）設立以来、続いているお花見です。
毎回Vital Japanのメンバー100人～200人が桜の下に集う一大イベント。ワインや麦の酒、ソフトドリンクなどを楽しみ、桜に包まれながら多彩なバックグラウンドのメンバーで交流しましょう。

過去10年にわたり、夏と冬のnetworking partyの月を除き欠かすことなく月例勉強会を続けてきました。その勉強会も3月で第100回。
第100回に相応しいゲストスピーカーとして森時彦さんお迎えします。
森さんは、Vital Japanの設立初年から参加くださり、勉強会でのスピーカーとしてもこれまでVital
Japanメンバーに刺激を与え続けてくださっています。
そのご著書『ザ・ファシリテーター』は、小説形式で新しい変革リーダー像を描き、リーダシップ、ファシリテーションの分野で高い評価を得ています。またその続編『ザ・ファシリテーター2』では、Vital
Japanも舞台として登場。
今回の記念勉強会では「ファシリテーションの真髄」と題し、リーダーシップ、組織運営、地域の活性化などあらゆる分野に有効なファシリテーションの奥義と技術について、この分野の第一人者である森時彦さんからお話いただきます。
ビジネスや教育の第一線で活躍されている森さんが実際に携わった事例をご披露いただきながら、参加者でインタラクティブに考えてみます。
今回は、いつもより早めの6:10pmより開始。最初の20分程で、Vital Japanの歩み等のSpecial
Openingを予定しています。
勉強会後には、下記の通り飯田橋駅近くのレストランにて100回記念の立食パーティーを開催。

ＮＰＯを立ち上げ、本を書いて“ファシリテーション”の普及活動を始めてから8年。
始めた時の認知度は実質的に0％でしたが、ようやく20％程度にはなってきたようです。
一言でいえば「ファシリテーションは衆知を集める技術」です。
当然その応用範囲は非常に広く、地域の活性化・人材育成・組織運営と、およそ
人の営みすべてに関わっています。応用分野によって、ファシリテーターの心構えやアプローチは異なりますが、基本は同じ。心を開いて話しやすい場をつくり、集団愚考に陥らずに建設的な議論ができるよう問い掛けることです。
今回の勉強会では、いろいろな応用分野を俯瞰しながら、私が日々携わっている
企業運営からいくつかの事例を紹介してみたいと思います。
▼Speakerのご紹介
大阪大学、マサチューセッツ工科大学（MIT）卒。
工学博士（Ph.D）、経営学修士（MBA）。
神戸製鋼所を経て、GE（ゼネラル・エレクトリック）に勤務。製品開発・ マーケティング部門のグローバルリーダー、日本GE役員などの要職を歴任。
その後、半導体自動検査装置最大手 テラダイン（日本法人）の代表取締役を経て、2006年に（株）チェンジ・マネジメント・コンサルティングを設立。
組織力の開発、変革マネジメントなどにかかわるプロセスコンサルティング、リーダーシップ育成などを手がける。2008年からはプライベートエクイティに対するアドバイザリー企業である（株）リバーサード・パートナーズの代表パートナーとしても活躍中。
著書に『“結果”の出ない組織はこう変えろ！』（朝日新聞出版）、新しい変革リーダー像を描いた小説『ザ・ファシリテーター』シリーズ、
『ファシリテーター養成講座』、『ファシリテーターの道具箱』（以上ダイヤモンド社）などがある。
『日経情報ストラテジー』『人材教育』など雑誌への寄稿も多い。

year marks the 10th anniversary of Vital Japan, and we
are planning a series of events to celebrate this significant
milestone.
The first
in the series, which is also our 100th monthly meeting,
we are pleased to have Dr.Tokihiko Mori as special speaker.
Dr.Mori is a "facilitation" guru in Japan.
His best selling books "The
Facilitator" and "The
Faclititator 2" among others have contributed
to a wide recognition of the term "facilitation",
which is "a skillset to help
and accelerate a collective thought" as he puts
it.
Following
the session, there will be a networking party at a restaurant
near Iidabashi Station.
The session will be highly interactive and conduced
in English, so please join us for this great opportunity
to network while you expand your knowledge and experience
with the facilitation guru.
*Message
from the Speaker
Eight years have passed since I started promoting “facilitation”
through setting up a non-profit organization and writing
books. The word has come to be recognized by roughly
20% of the Japanese from practically nil.
In a nutshell,
facilitation is a skillset to help and accelerate a
collective thought. Its application is wide and covers
most of the human activities including regional revitalization,
education and organization management.
The art
and technique of facilitators vary by the application
but the core is the same: Keep everyone open minded,
avoid falling into group think and ask questions to
lead constructive dialogue.
In this
study event, I will try to give an overview of various
applications and some case studies in business context
which I have been involved. Hope this will be insightful.

今回は、Vital Japanのメンバーで外科医・医療経営の専門家としても活躍されている中澤 達 さんのコーディネーションとファシリテーションで、日本の医療問題に切り込みます。
特に「富裕層向け医療ビジネス」と「企業における健康診断・産業保健活動」それぞれのご専門家からもプレゼンいただきながら、医療ビジネスの可能性や健康診断のあり方・産業保健活動について参加者で議論を深めます。
すべての労働者にとって健診は身近なことですので、医療について専門外の方々でも参加できるディスカッションです。
※今回は専門用語も多いため、日本語での勉強会となります。
●プレゼン１．「富裕層向け医療ビジネスの社会的意義」
PETガン検診、腫瘍マーカー検診、遺伝子診断など自費健診の項目は益々選択肢が広がっています。自費健診事業の企画開発の立場から、富裕層の健康に対するニーズが医療の発展に寄与する可能性について解説します。
●プレゼン２．「企業における健診・産業保健活動の有用性と課題」
日本では健康管理の実践に、企業や健康保険組合が積極的に関与し成果を上げています。がんの早期発見・早期治療やメタボリックシンドロームの評価などには、まず適切な健診を実施し基本となる情報を得ることが第一となります。
また、メタボ対策として始まった特定健診・保健指導は、ライフスタイルの改善により将来の疾病予防が可能ではないかと期待されています。一方で近年の日本全体を覆う財政状況の悪化により、このような予防医学的措置に対するコスト負担もままならない状況となっています。

●中澤 達 さん Dr.Nakazawa Tatsu
東京大学医学部 卒業。同大学にて博士号取得後、ワシントン大学医学部上級研究員を経て現在、北里大学医学部医療経営学准教授。
Harvard Business School (HDP)。外科学会専門医・指導医、脈管学会専門医・評議員。外科医として臨床の現場に立つ傍ら、医学部で病院管理学、医療経営学の研究・指導をしている。
●長谷川 大樹 さん Mr.Hasegawa Daiki
上智大学社会学科 卒業。 米国系コンサルティングファーム勤務を経て、富裕層13万人を抱える国内最大手の事業会社の医療ビジネス部門にて、企画業務に従事。現在は、先進的な医療サービスの事業化と併せて医療事務も兼任。癌難民を支援するための社団法人を設立し、事務局長も務める。
●高谷 典秀 さん Dr.Takaya Norihide
順天堂大学医学部 卒業。同大学にて博士号取得後、ワシントン大学医学部上級研究員、順天堂大学医学部循環器内科准教授を経て現在、医療法人社団 同友会 理事長。
循環器専門医、人間ドック専門医、人間ドック学会評議員。 同友会では年間約５０万件の健診を実施し、産業医活動や保健指導を通じて企業や地域の産業保健活動をサポートしている。
